An exceptional itinerary with a visit to Toronto and the magnificent Niagara Falls – truly an unforgettable holiday experience. Traverse to the Canadian Rocky Mountains, enjoy a 3-night stay in Banff and take a trip along the incredibly scenic Icefields Parkway. Your Icefields Parkway adventure will see you visit Lake Louise, Athabasca Falls and the Athabasca Glacier where you will head off on an Ice Explorer ride out on to the glacier. If this isn't enough take in the breath-taking landscape with a walk on the Glacier Skywalk. Leave Banff for a 2 day trip onboard the luxurious Rocky Mountaineer in GoldLeaf Service. Spend time exploring the cosmopolitan city of Vancouver before boarding a stunning Alaska cruise onboard Holland America Line.

Day 1 - Fly UK to Toronto

Fly to Toronto and transfer to your downtown hotel, alternatively make your own way by the UP Express train from Toronto Airport to downtown Toronto. The train runs every 15 minutes and only takes 25 minutes to reach downtown. Depending on the location of your hotel you may get off at Bloor or Union Station.

Day 2 - Toronto Sightseeing

There is so much to see and do in this fantastic city. We recommend a trip up the CN Tower, a short ferry ride over to Toronto/Centreville Island, visit the historic Distillery district and take a walk along the boardwalk and stop off at Sugar Beach.

Day 3 - Full day excursion to Niagara Falls

Duration: 10.5 hours

Travel on our air-conditioned motor coach for a breathtaking, full-day tour through the orchard-laden Niagara Peninsula to Niagara Falls, one of the great wonders of the world.

Tour includes: - Free time in Niagara Falls - Lunch overlooking Niagara Falls - Niagara City Cruise or Journey Behind the Falls*  

*Niagara City Cruise operates May through October, weather permitting. Journey Behind the Falls will be substituted from October to May.

Note: The itinerary may vary in the winter months depending on opening hours of wineries and attractions, and the lunch will either be buffet style or a plated 3-course menu. Note: Children will be provided with non-alcoholic beverages as a substitute.

Exploring Niagara Falls independently we recommend adding the Niagara Falls Explorer Pass. Providing you will access to Niagara Falls top attractions including Journey Behind the Falls, Niagara Parks Power Station, White Water Walk, Whirlpool Aero Car, Niagara’s Fury.

*Please note that the Niagara Falls Explorer Pass does not include transport between Toronto and Niagara Falls.

Day 4 - Fly Toronto to Calgary, transfer to Banff

Day 5 - Explore Banff

Today you have a day at leisure to explore Banff, in the heart of the Rockies there is so much to see and do. Why not take ride on the Banff Gondola up Sulphur Mountain, visit the Banff Hot Springs or go on a Discover Banff and it's wildlife excursion.

Day 6 - Icefield Parkway Tour

Duration: 10 hours 45 minutes

Experience the power of glaciers up-close on this exciting tour that highlights the most unique attraction in the Canadian Rockies; the Columbia Icefield Adventure. Travel on a massive Ice Explorer onto an ancient glacier and step out onto ice that is deep enough to bury the Eiffel Tower. Stand in the sky at the Glacier Skywalk, a curved glass walkway that stretches 30 metres from the sheer face of a cliff and hangs mid-air. This tour is filled with exciting experiences, spectacular sights, intriguing stories and the best photo opportunities.

Day 7 - Rocky Mountaineer Banff to Kamloops - GoldLeaf Service

All aboard - join the Rocky Mountaineer for the first day of your 2-day journey through Rockies:

Travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer from the mountain town of Banff to Kamloops, in the heart of the BC Interior. Enjoy the spectacular array of scenery as you travel between the glacier and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies, over mountain passes and through remarkable tunnels, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the Interior. Today’s highlights include the Continental Divide, the Spiral Tunnels, Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass, and Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven. Overnight in Kamloops.

Day 8 - Rocky Mountaineer Kamloops to Vancouver - GoldLeaf Service

Your journey continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. On today’s journey you will again see dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the interior, through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Coast and Cascade mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser River Valley.  Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon.  Your rail journey ends on arrival in Vancouver this evening.

(Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks & Beverages included on-board the train) Coach transfers provided by Rocky Mountaineer in Kamloops and Vancouver.

Day 11 - Juneau

Juneau delights with an abundance of water, forests and mountains. Situated between the Coast Mountains and the Gastineau Channel, Juneau offers a lot of variety, with the immense Mendenhall Glacier and the Juneau Icefields at its back door and the Tongass National Forest stretching out to the northeast. Juneau offers a variety of activities from shopping downtown to dogsledging, hiking, whale-watching and so much more

Day 12 - Skagway

Skagway was the gateway to the Klondike gold rush in 1898 and the glory days still resound through the town. Stroll through Skagway and browse the restored buildings and wooden boardwalks at the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park or take a ride on the White Pass & Yukon narrow-guage railway and finish up in the Red Onion Saloon!

Day 13 - Glacier Bay

Glacier Bay National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that protects a unique ecosystem of plants and animals living in concert with an ever-changing glacial landscape. It has more actively calving tidewater glaciers than any place else in the world. Watch as monumental chunks of ice split off a glacier and thunder into the sea - the impact sending water hundreds of feet into the air. Hold your breath, catch the moment on film. Then wait for it all to happen again. As it always does….

Day 14 - Ketchikan

With shops and houses built out over the water, Ketchikan clings to the shoreline of the Tongass Narrows. The stairways are weathered and the vibe is cheerful in the town that calls itself the Salmon Capital of the World. Besides the main attractions – Creek Street, the Tongass Historical Museum, Totem Bight State Park and Saxman Village – try a flight sightseeing trip to Misty Fjords National Monument. These deepwater fjords were gouged out by retreating glaciers, leaving granite cliffs towering thousands of feet above the sea and countless waterfalls plunging into placid waters.

Day 15 - Cruise the Inside Passage

Cruise back along the Inside Passage and take in the breath-taking wilderness coastline, with snow capped mountain peaks, glaciers, and rain forests. You may see whales, eagles, sea lions, sea otters, and mountain sheep
