Travel has always been a big part of who I am — the idea of discovering new places and cultures really excites me. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to visit some incredible corners of the world, from Canada, the USA, and Australia to Brazil, Asia, and even the remote island of Rarotonga in the Cook Islands. I’ve ticked off some truly memorable experiences too: cruising the glaciers of Alaska, climbing the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge, unwinding on Copacabana Beach, and swimming with pigs in the Bahamas — to name just a few. But my travel wish list? Still very much a work in progress!

I joined the team at My Canada Trips in 2021, and my passion for wildlife, natural beauty, and cultural variety led me to spend time exploring more of Canada recently. My latest adventure took me from vibrant Vancouver up through the wild beauty of Alaska — an unforgettable journey.

When I’m not travelling, you’ll usually find me climbing hills in the Scottish Highlands, out in nature with my kids, occasionally on horseback, and always keeping a close eye on the football.

For anyone planning a Canadian getaway, I highly recommend watching the sunset at Cactus Club in English Bay, Vancouver — it’s magical. And if you're staying in Banff, be sure to book an early morning tour to Lake Louise. Watching the sunrise there is something truly special, especially if you’re not planning a stay at the Lake.
