Rockies Summer Escorted Tour and Cruise

Day 1 - UK to Vancouver

Fly from the UK to Vancouver making your own way to your chosen hotel. 

Day 2 - Vancouver to Revelstoke

Today make your own way to Canada Place from your Vancouver hotel for your departure to Revelstoke. Begining your journey from Vancouver to Revelstoke Enjoy a wine tasting today and stop at a number of important historical sights as you head west. These include Craigellachie (The Last Spike).

Arriving into Revelstoke in the evening.

Day 3 - Revelstoke to Banff

Today is lake day! You will be able to explore the beautiful Lake Louise and Lake Moraine the two most photographed lakes in Canada. Enjoy the sights at Emerald Lake and have the option to explore the lake on a canoe. In the evening enjoy your stay in Banff with some free time in the evening to explore the local town.

Day 4 - Banff

Begin today by enjoying views of the Rockies as you ride the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain. Once you have reached the top enjoying you breakfast with a view. After breakfast enjoy a scenic tour of Lake Minnewanka and Two Jack Lake Loop.

In the afternoon enjoy a tour of the Banff Townsite with free time to explore Banff Avenue before returning to your hotel for the evening.

Day 5 - Banff to Blue River

Today you will take the scenic route to Blue River. Departing Banff you will have the opportunity to travel on the Icefields Parkway, stopping the Columbia Icefields. You will know have the opportunity to join the world-renowned Ice Explorer to the Athabasca Glacier.

Enjoying at stop at Mount Robson the highest peak of the Canadian Rockies. After making your way down the Rockies town of Jasper where you will have time to explore.

Continuing to Blue River for your overnight stay. 

Day 6 - Blue River to Vancouver

Your scenic drive from Blue River will allow you to see beautiful lakes and mountains including driving through the Fraser Valley. On your journey you will have the opportunity to stop at the Spahats Falls in Clearwater.

Once you arrive back in Vancuver making your own way from Canada Place to your downtown hotel. 

Day 7 - Vancouver

Explore the metropolis city of Vancouver, there is so much to explore over the next few days we have included the Hop on Hop off bus which allows you to explore Vancouver at your own pace.

Day 8 - Alaskan Cruise

Today make your way to Canada Place to board your fantastic 7-night Celebrity Alaskan Cruise oboard Celebrity Solstice. 

Day 9 - Crusie the Inside Passage

Today cruise one of the most scenic sea-lanes in the world - the Inside Passage - where ships can sail close to steep mountain walls, offering magnificent views of the unbelievable scenery from forests to evocative towns.

Day 10 - Icy Strait Point

For thousands of years, the Tlingit Indians have called this place home. Located just 22 miles southeast of Glacier Bay National Park, Icy Strait Point offers travellers the chance to view an enormous variety of wildlife including humpback whales, eagles, and brown bears, or explore monuments to the region’s fishing heritage.

Day 11 - Hubbard Glacier

Hubbard Glacier is the largest calving glacier on the North American continent. The glacier routinely calves off icebergs as high as 10-storey buildings, sending massive blocks of ice into the sea every few minutes.

Day 12 - Juneau

Juneau, the capital of Alaska, has an air of mystique – a town you cannot reach by road, you need to fly or come by sea! Juneau delights with an abundance of water, forests and mountains. Situated between the Coast Mountains and the Gastineau Channel, Juneau offers a lot of variety, with the immense Mendenhall Glacier and the Juneau Icefields at its back door and the Tongass National Forest stretching out to the northeast. Juneau offers a variety of activities from shopping downtown to dogsledging, hiking, whale-watching and so much more.

Day 13 - Ketchikan

You've never tasted salmon so fresh. Known as the 'Salmon Capital of the World', Ketchikan is also the ancestral home of the Tlingit people, who have carved the world's largest collection of totem poles. If you're up for an adventure, take a canoe and nature trail excursion through the rain forest or a wilderness exploration followed by a sumptuous crab feast you'll long remember.

Day 14 - Cruise the Inside Passage

Cruise back along the Inside Passage and take in the breath-taking wilderness coastline, with snow capped mountain peaks, glaciers, and rain forests. You may see whales, eagles, sea lions, sea otters, and mountain sheep.

Day 15 - Vancouver to UK

Depart off you Celebrity Cruise and make your own way to Vancouver airport for your onward flight.
