Rockies Summer Escorted Tour and Cruise

This tour provides a unique and true Canadian experience in the Rocky Mountains. Begin by travelling through the Fraser Valley from Vancouver to Blue River a fantastic scenic route with a stop at Spahats Falls in Clearwater. Continue your experience in Banff and take a journey on the Banff Gondola up to the top of Sulphur Mountain and enjoy your breakfast with a view over the mountains.

Visit Canada’s most photographed lakes Lake Louise and Moraine Lake and have the opportunity to canoeing on Emerald Lake. Travelling through the Okanagan Valley stopping in Kelowna one of Canada's finest wineries tasting various local wines. Explore the metropolis city of Vancouver on the Hop on Hop off bus the best way to see the city. Ending with a fantastic 7-night Alaskan cruise with Celebrity Cruises onboard Celebrity Solstice.

Day 1 - UK to Vancouver

Day 2 - Vancouver to Revelstoke

Today make your way to Canada Place from your Vancouver hotel for your departure to Revelstoke at approximately 8am. Begining your journey from Vancouver to Revelstoke Enjoy a wine tasting today and stop at a number of important historical sights as you head west. These include Craigellachie (The Last Spike).

Day 3 - Revelstoke to Banff

Today is lake day! You will be able to explore the beautiful Lake Louise and Lake Moraine the two most photographed lakes in Canada. Enjoy the sights at Emerald Lake and have the option to explore the lake on a canoe. In the evening enjoy your stay in Banff with some free time in the evening to explore the local town.

Day 4 - Banff

Begin today by enjoying views of the Rockies as you ride the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain. Once you have reached the top enjoying you breakfast with a view. After breakfast enjoy a scenic tour of Lake Minnewanka and Two Jack Lake Loop.

 

In the afternoon enjoy a tour of the Banff Townsite with free time to explore Banff Avenue before returning to your hotel for the evening. For tours departing in 2025 you will be hosted with a group dinner.

Day 5 - Banff to Blue River

Today you will take the scenic route to Blue River. Departing Banff you will have travel along the Icefields Parkway, stopping the Columbia Icefields. You will now have the opportunity to join the world-renowned Ice Explorer to the Athabasca Glacier.

Enjoying at stop at Mount Robson the highest peak of the Canadian Rockies. After making your way down the Rockies town of Jasper where you will have time to explore. 

Continuing to Blue River for your overnight stay.

Day 6 - Blue River to Vancouver

Your scenic drive from Blue River will allow you to see beautiful lakes and mountains including driving through the Fraser Valley. On your journey you will have the opportunity to stop at the Spahats Falls in Clearwater.

Arriving back to Vancouver in the evening, where you will make your way to your downtown hotel for your 2-night stay. This is the end of your escorted tour.

Day 7 - Vancouver

Explore the metropolis city of Vancouver, there is so much to explore over the next few days we have included the Hop on Hop off bus which allows you to explore Vancouver at your own pace.

Day 8 - Alaska Cruise

Day 10 - Icy Strait Point

For thousands of years, the Tlingit Indians have called this place home. Located just 22 miles southeast of Glacier Bay National Park, Icy Strait Point offers travellers the chance to view an enormous variety of wildlife including humpback whales, eagles, and brown bears, or explore monuments to the region’s fishing heritage.

Day 11 - Hubbard Glacier

Hubbard Glacier is the largest calving glacier on the North American continent. The glacier routinely calves off icebergs as high as 10-storey buildings, sending massive blocks of ice into the sea every few minutes.

Day 12 - Juneau

Juneau, the capital of Alaska, has an air of mystique – a town you cannot reach by road, you need to fly or come by sea! Juneau delights with an abundance of water, forests and mountains. Situated between the Coast Mountains and the Gastineau Channel, Juneau offers a lot of variety, with the immense Mendenhall Glacier and the Juneau Icefields at its back door and the Tongass National Forest stretching out to the northeast. Juneau offers a variety of activities from shopping downtown to dogsledging, hiking, whale-watching and so much more.

Day 13 - Ketchikan

You've never tasted salmon so fresh. Known as the 'Salmon Capital of the World', Ketchikan is also the ancestral home of the Tlingit people, who have carved the world's largest collection of totem poles. If you're up for an adventure, take a canoe and nature trail excursion through the rain forest or a wilderness exploration followed by a sumptuous crab feast you'll long remember.

Day 14 - Cruise the Inside Passage

Cruise back along the Inside Passage and take in the breath-taking wilderness coastline, with snow capped mountain peaks, glaciers, and rain forests. You may see whales, eagles, sea lions, sea otters, and mountain sheep.
