Day 1 - Fly UK to Vancouver

Arrive in Vancouver and transfer to your downtown hotel.

Day 2 - Explore Vancouver

Day at your leisure to explore this vibrant coastal city. We have included 48 Hour Pass on the Hop on Hop off Bus allowing you to explore the city at your own pace.  Must see/do Stanley Park - we highly recommend hiring a bicycle to get around the park, English Bay for sunset, Steam Clock at Gastown, Fly over Canada ride, Harbourfront, Granville Island Public Market and a scenic Harbour Cruise.

Day 3 - Explore Vancouver

A day at leisure to enjoy the delights of Vancouver and take in what you may of missed yesterday. Why not ask one of our Canada Experts about pre-booking a day trip to Whistler with the Sea 2 Sky Gondola or Victoria with Butchart Gardens.

Day 4 - Rocky Mountaineer Vancouver to Kamloops

Transfer from your hotel (included) and join the Rocky Mountaineer for a wonderful 2-day trip through the Rockies. Travel on board the Rocky Mountaineer from the coastal city of Vancouver to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. On today’s journey you will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser River valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade mountains, to the desert-like environment of the interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Your day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer travels along the shores of Kamloops Lake and into Kamloops. Overnight in Kamloops. Breakfast & Lunch included.

Day 5 - Rocky Mountaineer Kamloops to Jasper

Your journey continues north and east to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Once again you will be surrounded by dramatic scenery as you follow the banks of the North Thompson River through the Monashee and Cariboo mountains, climbing ever nearer to the high peaks of the Continental Divide. Today’s highlights include Mount Robson, at 3,954 metres (12,972 feet) the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Pyramid Falls, and the climb over the Yellowhead Pass into Jasper National Park. Your rail journey ends on arrival in the resort town of Jasper this evening. Breakfast and Lunch included

Day 6 - Maligne Lake & Gudied Walk

This introduction to Jasper begins with a short tour of the town before heading across the Athabasca River to Maligne Lake. A century after Mary Schaeffer's remarkable adventure, come discover the world-renowned Maligne Lake for yourself! A stop at Maligne Canyon offers staggering views of the river thundering through a series of magnificent waterfalls in a gorge 10,000 years in the making. Farther up the valley, stop to solve the mystery of "disappearing" Medicine Lake. Next we'll carry on to the pinnacle of our tour, breathtaking Maligne Lake! Enjoy a gentle guided walk along the shores of this pristine lake before heading back to Jasper.

Day 7 - Scenic Transfer to Banff

Following the spine of the Canadian Rockies, view a never-ending procession of mammoth mountains, jagged snowy peaks, and over 100 glaciers. The entire day is spent in the majesty of Canada’s two most famous National Parks, Banff and Jasper. Enroute, make a stop at Athabasca Falls located just outside of the Jasper Townsite. Among the most powerful and breathtaking falls in the Rocky Mountains, the Athabasca River thunders through a narrow gorge where the walls have been smoothed and potholed by the sheer force of the rushing water carrying sand and rock. Our next stop is the breathtaking Columbia Icefields and Athabasca Glacier where we will allow time to enjoy an Ice Explorer ride on the Glacier (included) and the Glacier Skywalk (included). Next we continue to the Weeping Wall, Peyto Lake and the Crowfoot Glacier before joining the Trans Canada Highway near Lake Louise where a stop will be made to view the lake and famous Chateau, then continue on the Trans Canada Highway, passing fortress formations of Castle and Protection Mountains to arrive in to Banff late afternoon. The Columbia Icefield is located on the boundary of Banff and Jasper National Parks. One of the largest accumulations of ice and snow south of the Arctic Circle, it covers an area of nearly 325 square kilometres. The continuous accumulation of snow feeds eight major glaciers including the Athabasca, Dome, and Stutfield, all visible from the Icefields Parkway. The Columbia Icefield is a true "continental divide," for its meltwater feeds streams and rivers that pour into the Arctic, Atlantic, and Pacific oceans. Facing the Columbia Icefield Visitors Centre lies the Athabasca Glacier - a tongue of ice 6 kilometres long and one kilometre wide descending almost to road level. Take time for Brewster's Ice Age Adventure, a tour onto the icy slopes of the Athabasca Glacier. You will travel in a specially designed Brewster Snocoach to the middle of the glacier, on a 5 kilometre round trip journey. Your driver/guide will explain how glaciers are formed and point out interesting geological features as you travel in safety and comfort. At the icefall below the glacier headwall, you will have the option of stepping out onto ice formed from snow falling as long as 400 years ago

Day 8 - Explore Banff

A day at leisure to explore Banff. We have included admission to the Banff Gondola allowing you to view Banff from new heights at the top of Sulphur Mountain. 

Day 9 - Explore Banff

Day at leisure to enjoy Banff and the National Park. This area offers some of the best wildlife opportunities, perhaps take in a Wildlife trip during your stay, if you are looking for something different why not consider Banff Open Top Touring. 

Day 10 - Banff to Calgary

Today you have a coach transfer included from your Banff hotel to your Calgary hotel for a 2 night stay.

Day 11 - Explore Calgary

Explore Calgary today at your leisure. We have some suggestions below for you:

Day 12 - Fly Calgary to Toronto

After checking out of hotel, transfer to Calgary airport (included) for your flight to Toronto. Make your own way to your downtown Toronto Hotel.

Day 13 - Toronto

Day at leisure to explore Toronto downtown, this is an easy city to get around, we have included a 24 hour pass on the Toronto Hop on Hop off bus allowing you to explore Toronto at your own pace. Be sure to take in the Distillery District, with lovely buildings, art & craft shops, a brewery and many food and walking tours on offer in this area. The harbourfront offers some beautiful views, for the more active paddle over to Toronto Island.

Day 14 - Niagara Falls Day Tour

Travel on our air-conditioned motorcoach for a breathtaking, full-day tour through the orchard-laden Niagara Peninsula to Niagara Falls, one of the great wonders of the world. Tours include: • Niagara City Cruises (mid-April - mid-November) or Journey Behind the Falls • Meal overlooking Niagara Falls, • Free time in Niagara on the Lake • Winery tour including a wine tasting.

Exploring Niagara Falls independently we recommend adding the Niagara Falls Explorer Pass. Providing you will access to Niagara Falls top attractions including Journey Behind the Falls, Niagara Parks Power Station, White Water Walk, Whirlpool Aero Car, Niagara’s Fury.

*Please note that the Niagara Falls Explorer Pass does not include transport between Toronto and Niagara Falls.

Day 15 - Fly Toronto to the UK

Spend this morning and early afternoon at your leisure. Pop up the worlds 3rd tallest building the CN Tower, Toronto also offers terrific shopping at the Eaton Centre and Yorkdale Mall. Check out of your hotel today and make your way to Toronto Airport for your flight back to the UK
