Spending a few days in Banff National Park felt like stepping into a postcard. Every turn brought stunning mountain views, crystal-clear turquoise lakes, and fresh alpine air. Places like Lake Louise and Moraine Lake never fail to impress; each visit offered something new and inspiring.

Relaxing in luxury: All aboard Rocky Mountaineer

After soaking in Banff’s natural beauty, it was time for the highlight of the trip: boarding the renowned Rocky Mountaineer train. Opting for GoldLeaf service proved to be an incredible decision. Stanley Park, in particular, became a personal favourite: a peaceful green oasis right on the edge of downtown, perfect for cycling, walking, or simply relaxing by the water.

Vancouver’s culinary scene deserves special mention. Whether you crave fresh seafood, diverse international cuisine, or trendy cafes, Vancouver delivers. Each meal seemed better than the last, and the friendly locals were always quick to offer excellent recommendations. Exploring neighbourhoods like Gastown and Granville Island was a joy; each offered unique atmospheres and charming local finds.
