Day 1 - Fly UK to Calgary

Day 2 - Discover Banff & It's Wildlife with Gondola

Day 3 - Johnstone Canyon Icewalk tour

You will have the morning at leisure before emabrking on an afternoon Ice Walk tour to Johnstone Canyon.

An experience that's truly unique to Banff! In the winters of Banff National Park, sub-zero temperatures turn mighty waterfalls into glittering pillars of ice. Suspended in time, these frozen falls look almost otherworldly.

Starting with a gentle walk to the lower falls, wander through a natural cave to gaze down at the flowering waters of the frozen falls up close. Then, continue onto the awe-inducing upper falls - a glittering tower of ice that rises 30 metres above your head. These gigantic pillars of ice are the tour highlight and ice climbers can often be seen scaling the frozen columns.

You'll also travel through prime wildlife habitat to reach the canyon, and learn clues from your friendly guide as to how Johnston Canyon was formed.

Day 4 - Lake Louise Winterland Tour

Experience a classic Canadian winter escape on a guided tour to Lake Louise in Banff National Park. Surrounded by towering peaks, the lake becomes a frozen alpine playground offering a range of winter experiences.

Stroll along the ice-covered shoreline and take in the breathtaking mountain scenery, or join your guide for a complimentary snowshoe walk through fresh powder.

Skating on the lake's natural ice rink and a traditional horse-drawn sleigh ride across the ice are available for an additional fee with advance booking.

With ample time to explore and enjoy the crisp mountain air, this Lake Louise tour blends relaxation, winter adventure, and iconic Rocky Mountain views.

Day 5 - Afternoon Snowshoeing to Paint Pots Tour

This morning is free to relax or explore the magical winter wonderland of Banff. In the afternoon, snowshoe on an easy trail through a forest of pine trees to the Pain Pots, a cultural treasure within the National Park.

Learn about the history of the fur trade as you explore the fascinating Paint Pots, which are mineral deposits once used by First Nations people for rock painting. Along the way you will hear stories of Banff's indigenous people, explorers and fur traders who lived in and traveled through the Rockies.

After this crisp winter walk, enjoy a uniquely Canadian treat: hot maple taffy poured into snow to make a sweet frozen dessert. Plus try a crazy carpet slide down the hill while it's being made - kids and adults alike love this part of the tour!

This is an excellent trip for beginners as it covers a mainly flat terrain with minimal elevation gain, and also suits anyone wanting a pleasant activity outdoors in the majesty of Kootenay National Park.

Day 6 - Sleigh Ride

Relax as you become captured by the breathtaking views and crisp winter air of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

The 45 minute sleigh ride will take you through the Bow River Valley, showing you the remote areas around Banff, western style (weather and snow conditions permitting).

Includes a fireside warmup with hot apple cider and marshmallows.

Day 7 - Explore Banff

A free day to explore Banff. 

Day 8 - Fly Calgary to UK

Today, transfer to Calgary airport for your flight to the UK.
