Born and raised in Calgary, Canada, I have been blessed to have the stunning Rocky Mountains in my backyard for most of my life.  

After jumping into the travel industry straight out of school, I have travelled throughout the world – ticking off bucket list items and making memories through some of the most amazing locations of Tahiti, South Africa, Caribbean and more!  But, I still find myself coming back to Canada frequently to not only visit friends and family, but to explore new locations or climb new mountains (or, to go to the Calgary Stampede yet again!). Being a part of the My Canada Trips team, means that I can share my enthusiasm and love for my home country (and Alaska!) daily.

My top tips when travelling through the country, is to bring a charging bank with you to ensure that you can have a charged phone for any photos (in case your camera battery dies).  You don’t want to miss taking any photos of Canada’s spectacular scenery.  And, absolutely consider exploring the country in the winter season, it truly feels magical with the snow on the ground and the frost in the trees.
