Highlights of Canada Escorted Tour

Day 1 - Arrive Toronto

Arrive in Toronto and transfer to your hotel, spending the remainder of your day at leisure. 

Day 2 - Niagara Falls

Today you have a full day insightful comprehensive guided tour of Niagara Falls. 

Duration: 10.5 hours

Travel on the air-conditioned motor coach for a breathtaking, full-day tour through the orchard-laden Niagara Peninsula to Niagara Falls, one of the great wonders of the world.

Tour includes: - Free time in Niagara Falls - Lunch overlooking Niagara Falls - Niagara City Cruise or Journey Behind the Falls*

*Niagara City Cruise operates May through October, weather permitting. Journey Behind the Falls will be substituted from October to May.

Day 3 - Explore Toronto

Experience Toronto with the Hop on Hop off Bus allowing you to see the best of the city. 

Day 4 - Toronto to Calgary

Transfer to Toronto airport for your onward flight to Calgary. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel for the start of your escorted tour, meet your fellow travellers for a welcome meeting in the evening. 

Day 5 - Calgary to Banff

Start with breakfast and check out from the hotel before a Calgary orientation tour, showcasing its western heritage and modern skyline. Visit the Sam Centre for an interactive look at the Calgary Stampede legacy.

Travel west to the majestic Rocky Mountains, with a lunch stop at Boundary Ranch. Arrive in Banff for an orientation tour featuring Banff Springs Hotel, Bow Falls, and the townsite. Ride the Banff Gondola up Sulphur Mountain for breathtaking views, then check into your hotel. Enjoy free time to explore Banff Avenue and dine at leisure, followed by an overnight stay in Banff.

Day 6 - National Parks & Iconic Lakes

Today's journey takes you through Banff and Yoho National Parks, home to iconic natural wonders of Canada. Visit Emerald Lake, the Natural Bridge, and the Spiral Tunnels engineering marvel. Continue to Lake Louise for stunning views of Victoria Glacier. Explore Moraine Lake and the Valley of the Ten Peaks, with seasonal access.

Return to Banff for an evening at leisure, followed by an overnight stay in Banff.

Day 7 - Banff to Jasper via the Icefields Parkway

Depart Banff and travel the world-renowned Icefields Parkway, stopping for photos at Bow Lake and Athabasca Falls. Visit the Columbia Icefield and enjoy the Ice Explorer Glacier Tour.

Arrive in Jasper National Park and check into your hotel. Enjoy free time to explore the Jasper townsite or join optional activities like the Jasper SkyTram for panoramic sunset views, explore the Jasper Planetarium. 

Day 8 - Jasper to Wells Grey Provincial Park

Visit Maligne Lake with the option to take the Spirit Island Cruise or enjoy a lakeside walk. Stop at Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Continue to Wells Gray Provincial Park and explore with a visit to Spahats Falls. Enjoy a group dinner in Clearwater, included in the itinerary.

Day 9 - Clearwater to Vancouver

Depart Clearwater and travel through rolling ranchlands and the Cariboo region, following the Fraser River south. Arrive in Vancouver in the late afternoon and enjoy a sightseeing tour, including Stanley Park and the downtown core. Overnight in Vancouver.

Day 10 - Explore Vancouver

After breakfast your escorted tour comes to an end. Enjoy free time to explore Vancouver, in the evening we have included a sunset whale watching experience. 

This evening cruise in Vancouver's Salish Sea provides 360-degree panoramic views and excellent wildlife-spotting opportunities as the sun dips toward English Bay. Led by knowledgeable marine naturalists, you'll search for orca whales, humpback whales, sea lions, seals, and bald eagles. Stay warm with complimentary hot drinks, enjoy the relaxing evening atmosphere.

*Please note the sunset whale watching experience is opertaional from June to August. Any itineraries departing on other months will be replaced with half day whale watching experience

Day 11 - Depart Vancouver

You Canada adventure comes to a end today. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight home or speak to our Canada Experts if you wish to extend your stay.
