Day 1 - Arrive Vancouver

Arrive in Vancouver and make your way to your centrally located downtown hotel. Once you’ve settled in, ease into your trip with a walk along the waterfront or through the leafy paths of the West End. If time allows, visit the Vancouver Art Gallery or enjoy dinner on a patio with views of the harbour or nearby mountains.

Day 2 - Vancouver City Highlights Tour & Capilano Suspension Bridge

Start your visit with a 6.5-hour guided tour that showcases the best of Vancouver’s city highlights and natural beauty. Highlights include the waterfront, English Bay, and a stop in Stanley Park—a 1,000-acre temperate rainforest on the edge of downtown—for views from Prospect Point and a look at the Indigenous totem poles.

 

Take in panoramic views from the Vancouver Lookout, then browse local flavours and artisan stalls at Granville Island’s Public Market. The tour concludes at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, where suspension bridges and treetop walkways provide sweeping views of the forested canyon.

Day 3 - Whale Watching & a Taste of Vancouver

This morning, depart from downtown Vancouver on a half-day whale watching tour with Prince of Whales. Cruise the Salish Sea in search of orcas, humpbacks, sea lions, and seabirds, with views of the coastline and Gulf Islands along the way.

 

In the afternoon, consider joining a guided culinary walking tour with Vancouver Foodie Tours. Sample handmade pasta, fresh seafood, and sweet treats while learning the stories behind each dish and the neighbourhoods they come from.

 

You could also spend a quiet afternoon among stunning gardens at VanDusen or explore tropical plants and exotic birds inside the Bloedel Conservatory. End your day with dinner at a local favourite in Kitsilano or Mt. Pleasant.

Day 4 - Urban Exploring & Bowen Island Dinner

Spend your final day in Vancouver exploring something new. See the city from above on a floatplane tour or paddle through calm waters in a rented kayak along False Creek. Culture lovers may want to visit the Museum of Anthropology at UBC or explore Indigenous art at the Bill Reid Gallery.

 

In the late afternoon, board a 30-foot zodiac boat for a scenic cruise to Bowen Island. Take in views of Stanley Park, Lighthouse Park, and the coastal shoreline before enjoying dinner at Doc Morgan’s or Rustique. After a short visit to Bowen’s artisan village, return to Vancouver by boat.

Day 5 - Vancouver to Whistler

Today, travel by coach along the stunning Sea-to-Sky Highway to Whistler (approx. 2 hours). Upon arrival, spend the rest of your day exploring Whistler Village at your own pace.

Day 6 - Whistler Experiences

This morning take part in a 2 hours and 30 minutes 4x4 bear viewing experience in the Whistler Olympic Park. Immerse yourself in a pristine, intact ecosystem in which mother bears, cubs, and males searching for mates, roam freely and untagged, providing spectacular viewing and photography opportunities. You'll be amazed by the Olympic rings, biathlon, and training facilities, all in the heart of where our resident black bear population eats, sleep, mate and raise their young. Travel in comfort in a 4x4 vehicle to private lakes, lookouts, waterfalls, bear dens, tracks and tree markings.

Day 7 - Whistler Exploring

Today we have included admission to some of Whisler's top attractions the Peak to Peak Gondola and Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre.

Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre

The Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre is a world-class attraction located in Whistler showcasing the distinct cultures of the Squamish and Lil'wat Nations, two First Nations peoples of British Columbia. This extraordinary experience will include colorful indigenous art seen nowhere else, historical and contemporary exhibits, textiles, cedar carvings, priceless collections, song, dance, traditional food, live artist demonstrations, interactive programs and an exploratory outdoor component. The Cultural Centre offers guests of all ages an authentic and fascinating resort activity that is not to be missed.

Peak 2 Peak Gondola 

The record-breaking Peak 2 Peak Gondola links Blackcomb and Whistler Mountains. Approximately a 7-10 minute walk from Whistler Village. A feat of engineering, the gondola boasts the longest unsupported lift span in the world 3.024 kms/1.88 miles. It is also the highest lift of its kind with an elevation of 436 metres 1,427 ft. Sightseeing on the Peak 2 Peak Gondola is a must do while in Whistler. The ticket allows you to visit Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains in one day, on the way receiving a stunning 360-degree bird's eye view of Whistler Village, the forest and spectacular mountain peaks, valleys, lakes and glaciers. A special glass-bottom gondola provides another unique perspective of the forest.
