Rocky Mountaineer: Rockies to the Red Rocks Routes

Explore across two days of extraordinary landscapes between Moab, Utah and Denver, Colorado on Rocky Mountaineer Rockies to the Red Rocks Route. With the option to board the train in either Denver or Moab you will be transported through vast canyons, natural archways, and deserts.

Westbound

Day 1 Denver to Glenwood Springs

Board Rocky Mountaineer in Denver. Cross the Continental Divide as you take in the spectacular views of rugged canyons and the Colorado River before arriving at the resort town of Glenwood Springs. Overnight in Glenwood Springs.

Day 2 Glenwood Springs to Moab

Depart Glenwood Springs and travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer. Cross the Colorado-Utah border with stunning mountain views in the background. Red sandstone landscapes emerge as you approach Moab, the gateway to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Your journey ends upon arrival in Moab.

Day 2 Glenwood Springs to Denver

Depart Glenwood Springs and travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer. In the morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast onboard as you take in the spectacular views of rugged canyons and the Colorado River before crossing the Continental Divide. Soon, you’ll reach the vibrant city of Denver. Your journey ends upon arrival in Denver.
