Begin in the mile high city of Denver cradled in the majestic Rocky Mountains, before joining one of the worlds most famous trains, Rocky Mountaineer, glide through the great divide with an overnight in Glenwood Springs before arriving in the desert town of Moab in Utah. Travel onto Salt Lake City for an overnight before the short flight to Seattle, explore the city and take a full day tour to the nearby scenic beauty of Mt Rainer, before boarding an epic 7 night Alaskan cruise.

Day 1 - Denver

Arrive in the mile high city, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 - Rocky Mountaineer Denver to Glenwood Springs

Depart Denver and travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer. The train will slowly gain elevation before reaching the Continental Divide, cutting through 10 kilometres (6.2 miles) of mountainous terrain via the Moffat Tunnel. You’ll continue along the Colorado River through more rugged landscapes and canyons, including the picturesque Byers and Gore canyons. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife, as you may get a glimpse of some native to these canyons. You will then pull into Glenwood Springs and relax overnight at a cozy hotel.

Day 3 - Rocky Mountaineer Glenwood Springs to Moab

Depart Glenwood Springs and travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer. Cross the Colorado-Utah border with stunning mountain views in the background. Red sandstone landscapes emerge as you approach Moab, the gateway to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.

Day 10 - Endicott Arm & Dawes Glacier (Cruising)

Cruise along the Endicott Arm & Dawes Glacier before arriving at Juneau - Here's your chance to take a glacial dogsled adventure via helicopter in Alaska's capital. A city that gracefully balances frontier ruggedness with cosmopolitan flair. Mendenhall Glacier, a river of ice measuring 1.5 miles in width and over 6 miles in length, is part of Juneau's Icefield, 1500 square miles of ice that feeds 38 glaciers and ready for you to take a float trip on it.

Day 11 - Skagway & Inside Passage

Uncovering authentic local finds and having experiences that make you feel like you’ve really connected with a place are important elements in ensuring an extraordinary vacation. 

Located between Vancouver and Ketchikan, Alaska's Inside Passage is host to some of the most breathtaking scenery on the face of the earth, 3000 foot mountain peaks meet the oceans within a mile of the shore. Marvel at the spring wildflowers and the migration of the Humpback and Killer whales. Visit in the autumn when the passage is ablaze with autumn foliage, it's perfect place to view gatherings of Bald Eagles.
