Day 2 - Explore Toronto

Embark on a day of exploration! You may choose to meander one of the city’s unique neighbourhoods, such as Cabbage Town, Bloor West Village, or Yorkville, to name a few. Enjoy the ample greenspace of the many relaxing parks or dare to ascend the 553-metre CN Tower (admission included) to get unparalleled panoramic views from the top. While here, make time to taste the array of international cuisine options throughout the city.

Day 3 - Toronto to Ottawa

Travel east to historic Kingston and Gananoque, gracing the shores of the St. Lawrence River. Along the way, perhaps stop for lunch in beautiful and historic Picton, or tour one of the local wineries of Prince Edward County. Arriving in Ottawa after check in take some time to explore Canada’s national capital. View the neo-gothic parliament buildings surrounded by lush lawns and gardens. Enjoy the liveliness of Byward Market and the many historical and cultural sites across the city. At sunset, admire the waterways as they light up in a blaze of colour before setting out on the town.

Day 4 - Ottawa to Montreal

Departing Ottawa, travel eastbound towards the border of Ontario and Quebec following the south shore of the Ottawa River. Small waterside communities such as Hawkesbury offer a pleasant place to stop, enjoy the views of the river and have a meal. Continuing onward, you soon reach the thriving metropolis of Montreal, a city of cultural contrasts and urban elegance.

Day 5 - Explore Montreal

The day is at leisure for exploring Montreal, boasting a vibrant, cosmopolitan flair and a unique combination of the founding cultures of Canada. Stroll through the Old Port, visit the Notre Dame Basilica, Olympic Park or perhaps travel the tree-covered pathways of stunning Mount Royal Park overlooking the city. Day 6 - Montreal to Quebec City

Departing Montreal, you will travel further into the French-speaking province of Quebec. Following the shores of the St. Lawrence River, you will reach Quebec City - the only walled city in North America. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore this historical city.

Day 7 - Explore Quebec City

There is something in this city of history and French culture to entice every visitor. You may choose to visit La Citadelle, the colonial fortification that on many occasions protected the shores of New France from the forces of the other great world powers centuries ago. For a taste of those founding years, pay a visit to the Place Royale historic district and see the buildings and streets as they appeared in the earliest days of settlement.

We have included a walking tour of Quebec City the best way to explore the city and learn more about it's history.Follow your cicerone (guide) off the beaten path and be enticed by the charms of Old Quebec, a UNESCO world heritage gem! Historical characters will let you experience 400 years of the city’s captivating past! In addition to the Chateau Frontenac, the Dufferin Terrace and the Notre-Dame-de-Quebec Cathedral Basilica, the tour will also take you to the Petit-Champlain district and Place Royale to admire numerous 17th and 18th century buildings.

Day 8 - Quebec City to Boston

Today you venture southward to the United States border, crossing over into the beautifully green state of Vermont. Renowned for its skiing in the winter and lush parks in the summer, the drive is picturesque enroute to New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Many small communities and midsized cities are along the highway, offering ample places to stop for lunch and a rest. Arrive in Boston, a pivotal location in American history and one of the great centres of commerce and the arts today.

Day 12 - New York to Washington DC

Today the road leads through some of the most pivotal locations in American history. En route is Philadelphia, often referred as the birthplace of democracy. Similarly, Baltimore enjoys a long history in both the colonial and civil wars periods. Arriving in Washington, see the public spaces and buildings that house the seat of United States government with architectural views famous around the world.
