Holiday Overview

Experience the "wine region" of British Columbia on this leisurely fly-drive as you travel from Vancouver, via Manning Park to Osoyoos, Penticton and Kelowna. Traverese to Sparkling Hills Resort, overlooking Okanagan Lake, before continuing to  Sundance Guest Ranch and Whistler, where you have a couple of nights at the Nita Lake Lodge before heading back to Vancouver.

This is a region that truly has something for everyone. Foodies flock to the area's renowned orchards and vineyards; families can't get enough of the many sandy, lakeside beaches; and outdoor enthusiasts come for the golfing, hiking, biking and skiing.

The history and culture of the region - from its Indigenous people to European fur traders to wine makers and food producers - is strongly tied to the land. This is reflected in many of the area's museums, heritage sites, and much of its artwork, where the colourful past is brought to life for visitors.

Wine & Dine the Okanagan Valley includes:

  • Flights and transfer
  • 15 nights accommodation
  • Intermediate Hire car
  • Winery tour Osoyoos
  • Wine tour Kelowna
  • Peak 2 Peak Gondola ride

Enjoy a full day tour of incredible wineries, gorgeous views, and a gourmet lunch. You will visit a minimum of five wineries on this tour, from the old stalwarts to some of the new additions on the bench. Each has its own unique personality and wines that they specialize in. Your tour starts by visiting the tail of Mount Bouchiere's southeastern flank. Some of the best and oldest vineyards in the Okanagan are located on the south eastern flank of Mount Boucherie, where the vines are exposed to the sunlight from early morning until late in the day. You will visit Mission Hill Estate Winery, which is the flagship of this region and never fails to impress - wine tasting is included. Next is Mt. Boucherie Family Estate Winery, a family-owned and operated winery that is home to many award-winning wines. Your tour continues with a visit to the Old Vines Restaurant at Quails Gate, which was recently named one of the Top 100 Restaurants in Canada by OpenTable. At Quails Gate, you will have lunch at the Old Vines Restaurant - gift card for lunch is included in this tour that allows you to order off the menu. In the afternoon, you'll explore the rest of the wineries such as Rollingdale Winery, a small organic farm gate winery located in Lakeview Heights in West Kelowna. Or the Hatch Winery, a new boutique winery in West Kelowna that features a rustic, family-friendly tasting room with panoramic views and a wide selection of wines.

On this tour, you will visit a minimum of five wineries - if time permitting, you will visit more. The selection of wineries can be adjusted based on the group's interest. We will try to see all the wineries that the group is specifically interested in.
