Jasper - Clearwater

As you head south along the Yellowhead Highway look out for bears and moose at the side of the road, the Helmcken falls lodge is located just outside of the settlement of Clearwater, this is a lovely area and it will give you an appreciation of the great outdoors. Hiking, wildlife and scenery are the order of the day, this part of the rockies is less commercial and quieter which can sometimes reward the traveller with some unexpected and unforgettable wildlife viewing.

Clearwater - Whistler

The drive west towards the coast will take you past Lillooett and over the old logging route to the vibrant village of Whistler, if it can be done outside then the chances are you can do it Whistler, biking, hiking, zip treking, horse riding and canoeing can all be done here and add to this some of the best restaurants and bars on the west coast all add up to make this one of the must see places in Canada, you will be staying in the centre of the village close to all amenities.

Whistler - Vancouver

Today you have a wonderful drive south on the Sea to Sky highway, this is a very scenic drive with the gulf islands on your right at the coast mountains on your left, as you approach Vancouver you will drive through world famous Stanley park and then you will enter one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Vancouver has plenty to do but don't worry you have 3 days to appreciate all that it has to offer.

Vancouver - Penticton ( Okanagan Valley )

One of British Columbia's best kept secrets, warm sunny days and mile after mile of vineyards will greet you as you approach the pretty town of Penticton. Here you can catch the fall sunshine at one of the lakes, visit a vineyard, go boating or just relax with a bottle of delicious wine. This is a lovely place to reflect on your holiday and also to plan what you will be doing when you get to Lake Louise tomorrow.

As you drive east you will see the rolling hills of the Okanagan give way to the splendour of the rockies, no trip to the rockies is complete without an overnight at Lake Louise, this is some of the best scenery found anywhere in the world, do as much or as little as you want....be sure to see Moraine lake with it's cobalt blue water....once seen never forgotton.

Lake Louise - Kananaskis

Today you will drive towards Calgary but your vacation is not over yet, you have one final night at the Delta Kananaskis, this is horse country located in the foothills of the rockies, this is a lovely accommodation and tomorrow you will not have far to drive to the airport. Enjoy the great outdoors or just take advantage of the hotels lovely facilities.
